They are bad for the industry (whether it be literature, gaming or television and in particular, movies). The only time they are "good" or a better term would be useful, is when you want to ruin something for someone else and that is always bad. People who post spoilers just plain suck. Remember going to a movie and hearing some jerkoff say that something is going to happen that "you should see it"? Well I guess they have gone digital and honestly, anyone who scours the internet for spoilers to see if they can be the One To Post It should just get a life and let the rest of us enjoy ours'.
